I have very good news. My days going to the library are over because I recently got internet at home. Now for the rest of the summer, I will be updating whenever I want. I am very glad that my family finally has internet at home. It might be slow because it's dial up but that is all that is offered in the area. There is no high-speed nor satellite so we are stuck with dial up. It also works with our old ancient party line. Almost nobody has those old phone lines anymore. The internet is really cheap too. It will cost $10 a month until October 2007 going up close to $20 a month. At first, we thought that we had to upgrade to the new phone lines of today and pay more but we found out that we didn't have to after all. I'm glad because our phone bills are still cheap and we get to surf the web by keeping our party line.


I still don't know what my future will be by the time autumn/fall comes around. I am currently working my summer job one final time. Once that is done, I have to find a full time job. I don't know if I will continue living at home if I get a local job or move away if I find a job elsewhere. I would like to find a job locally but the closest city is really small and isn't high tech so I might have little success finding a job in web design. I can always fall back on my business background or do secretarial work while looking for my dream job afterwards. In the end, wherever I get a job, I most likely will still have internet access and keep this club, as well as my other clubs, running.


The voting period for the contest has been extended again. You now have until the end of the month to vote making that Thursday, May 31, 2007. I will announce the winner on Friday, June 1, 2007. You have until midnight in your own time zone to vote and please, please vote. There are still only 4 votes making it a 4-way tie. I really need people to vote to break the tie or I will have to and I feel that would be unfair because I would be picking my favorite out of the four. Remember that you are allowed to vote for yourself but you are only allowed to vote once so choose carefully for which one is your favorite. All votes must also be sent in through a note only because I would like to keep all the votes private. If you have already voted, please don't vote again. For anyone who hasn't voted, please vote to break the tie. If you are a new member, you may also vote so please do so.


There's one last thing that I would like to say. If anyone is living in or around the Ottawa area, which is Canada's capital city, I just recently found out that some big musicals were coming. I presently live in Ottawa and it's also over an hour away from my home. Four or five musicals are coming. I saw the ad in the newspaper but I can only remember four of them, which are The Phantom of the Opera, Cats, Evita and Mamma Mia. Tickets for The Phantom of the Opera just went on sale and I got pretty good seats close to the centre and the front of the stage. I'm so excited. The other musical that I plan to see is Cats, which is my favorite because cats are my favorite animals. I have already seen Mamma Mia along with The Lion King back in May of 2000 while on a school trip and I been in the musical Evita myself so I know how it goes and I don't have to see it. Tickets for the other musicals have not gone on sale yet so keep a look out. The Phantom of the Opera isn't sold out either. The weekend shows might be but I think there's still plenty of good seats available for the weekday shows. It's touring and running in Ottawa August 15 to September 9, 2007. I would also like to see Wicked. From what I've been seeing and hearing about it, it sounds like a cool musical. I hope that it will one day come to either Ottawa or Montreal. Toronto is just a bit too far for me to travel. Anyway, if you are interested in buying  tickets, then click here or check out the Ticketmaster website.
